                              RESOLUTION NO. 21529
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
                 NO. SS-2-97, SHALLOWFORD ROAD AT TUNNEL
                 BOULEVARD STREETSCAPE, TO RIVERBEND
                 CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION FOR THEIR LOW BID IN
                 THE AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN
                 THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS ($337,700.00).
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of Contract No. SS-2-97, Shallowford Road at Tunnel
       Boulevard Streetscape, to Riverbend Construction Corporation for
       their low bid in the amount of $337,700.00.
